The Andromeda Galaxy

Description
The Andromeda Galaxy is the bright galaxy in the entire night sky, shining around mag +3.5 in the constellation Andromeda. In a dark sky, it appears as a little fuzz spot, but long exposures reveal beautiful arm bands that stretch as wide as four full moons across the sky. Also visible, the galaxy's companions, M110 on the top left, and M32 on the bottom right. This is around an 1 hour total exposure in a bortle 5 sky. Captured with a Sony a7iii hooked to a SkyWatcher 62ED Refractor. Taken on October 19, 2023
